Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease found in 1-2% of the general population, and manifests as ruddy layers of skin with raised, silvery scales. Psoriasis can appear anywhere on the body, including on the skull. Exposure to the sun and spending extended time in a dry climate are generally beneficial for minimizing the effects of the disease.

Stopiasis is based on organic plants and high-quality oils, and was developed with a special emphasis on helping people who are highly sensitive to treatments and who easily develop skin reactions.

Stopiasis contains plant extracts with research-proven medicinal properties, recognized in professional literature for their efficacy:
Pepper Capsicum extract - contains capsaicin; acts by upsetting the chemical balance in nerve cells responsible for transfering pain stimulation from the skin to the brain, and thus has an anesthetic effect.
Propolis extract - known as a disinfecting agent and recommended for treating injuries and improving tissue repair following surgeries; also an antiviral and antifungal agent, increasing cell division in injured areas. Its amino acids increase protein production necessary for tissue regeneration.
Grape seed oil - protects skin from UV rays, assists in preventing skin ageing, stabilizes skin collagen and elastin, and thus preserves the skin’s elasticity. Prevents the breakdown of hyaluronic acid and thus preserves connective tissue. Rich in fatty acids, which strengthen and nourish the skin cells while preserving its moisture.
Carrot oil - known as an anti-inflammatory agent and a source of skin-essential vitamin A.
Marigold (Calendula) extract - contains components with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Helpful in cases of skin inflammations, severe wounds, moderate skin blisters, and problematic skin.
Wild Yam root - an anti-inflammatory agent; combats rheumatism and treats joint inflammations.
Recommended diet: It is recommended to refrain from eating foodstuffs containing food colorings, preservatives, monosodium glutamate, salt, or white flour, while increasing the intake of fresh vegetables.
Directions: First clean the affected area. When dry, gently massage in a thin, uniform layer of the cream. Use at least twice day, or more frequently for quicker and better results.
Please note: There may be mild burning sensation for a few minutes during the first few days of use as the skin’s natural reaction to the product. Should the burning sensation worsen, simply rinse the area with lukewarm water.
