Cooking Instructions: Rinse 1 cup of quinoa thoroughly with cold water. Pour in 2 cups of water (ratio 1:2) and bring to a boil. Add 0.3-0.5 teaspoons of salt, cover, and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes, until all the water is absorbed. After cooking, remove from heat, stir, and let it sit covered for another 5-10 minutes.
